Acts of Absence is an evening-length interdisciplinary collaboration featuring digital media designer Scott Martin, the live music of Hentai Improvising Orchestra, and the performances and guest choreography of the members of Big Rig Dance Collective. Commissioned by Tulsa New Genre Festival of Tulsa Oklahoma, the work explored the vastness and emptiness of the Texas landscape and the desire for connection and intimacy.
